A first edition booklet of 31 sketches from October 2018’s Orientober drawing challenge. Orientober is a list of daily drawing prompts created by Nadia Rausa (@nadiarausa) in the same spirit as Inktober (a daily drawing challenge created by Jake Parker @jakeparker). Every year, artists all over the world create 1 ink drawing each day of October following the prompts. I decided to do Orientober this year because all of the prompts are inspired by Chinese, Japanese, and Korean culture.
